My name is Christina, but I go by Fluffy Owl in my Girl Guide & Brownie unit. I continuously get surprised by the Girls when they show me how much they know and the hot topics that they are already exposed to. I actually went back to be a Guider at the same unit where I was a Girl participant myself. It’s quite enlightening to regularly interact with the inquisitive and intelligent minds of these young kids.
I started this blog to inspire and get inspired on different subjects and methods in Guiding. Girl Guides of Canada is important to me because it encourages growth and positive thinking in the new generation across the country. This is their chance to develop confidence and practical skills that will take them into adulthood.
